D.J. Nash

Few people in Hollywood had the whirlwind success of comedy writer DJ Nash. In less than 10 years, Nash went from being a lowly sitcom writer on the short-lived family comedy "Out of Practice" (CBS 2005-06) to creating a network sitcom based on his own childhood. That show, "Growing Up Fisher," debuted on NBC in February 2014, and was centered around a visually-impaired father who must learn to take care of his children after a divorce. With "Growing up Fisher," Nash was able to turn his unusual upbringing into comedic fodder, while also showing the Hollywood TV community that he was well on his way.
