Frederick King Keller
Fred Keller is a film and television director best known for his work on such shows as "Boomtown" and "The Pretender." In 1981 he produced and directed the critically acclaimed fantasy film "Tuck Everlasting," about a young girl who discovers a family who drinks from a magic spring that lets them remain forever young. He next wrote and directed the heist film "Vamping," and in 1989 he transitioned to television with a directing job on the teen series "Hey, Dude." From 1994 to 1998 he helmed over 15 episodes of the crime drama "New York Undercover," and later worked on numerous episodes of the sci-fi mystery series "The Pretender" and the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" spin-off, "Angel." Keller next directed and produced several episodes of the critically acclaimed police drama "Boomtown," which told a single story through multiple viewpoints. Beginning in 2002 he served as an episodic director on "24," and has since directed episodes of such shows as "Numbers," "Justified," and "House M.D.," and produced the 2006 TV series "Windfall."
