George Thorpe
George Thorpe was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Thorpe began his career with a role in the drama "The Demi-Paradise" (1943) with Laurence Olivier. Thorpe began to focus on film after appearing in the crime flick "The Man on the Eiffel Tower" (1950) with Charles Laughton and "The Reluctant Widow" (1950). Later in his career, Thorpe acted in the dramatic sports film "The Rainbow Jacket" (1954) with Robert Morley. Thorpe passed away in December 1961 at the age of 70.
