Harry Beresford
Harry Beresford was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Beresford appeared in such films as the Richard Dix sports "The Quarterback" (1926), "Charlie Chan Carries On" (1931) and "Heaven on Earth" (1931). He also appeared in "The Match King" (1932), the Barbara Stanwyck drama "So Big" (1932) and the Lionel Atwill thrilling adaptation "Doctor X" (1932). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Ever in My Heart" (1933), the drama "Night Flight" (1933) with John Barrymore and "The Mind Reader" (1933). He also appeared in "I Cover the Waterfront" (1933). In the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in "The Little Minister" (1934), "David Copperfield" (1935) with W C Fields and the dramatic adaptation "Anna Karenina" (1935) with Greta Garbo. He also appeared in "I Found Stella Parish" (1935) and "Grand Jury" (1936). Beresford last acted in the Bobby Mauch adventure "The Prince and the Pauper" (1937). Beresford passed away in October 1944 at the age of 81.
