Howard C. Hickman
Howard Hickman was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Hickman's earliest roles were in film, including "Ready Money" (1914), "Civilization" (1916) and "The Honorable Algy" (1916). He also appeared in "The Jungle Child" (1916) and "Broadway Hoofer" (1929). He continued to act in productions like the adventure "Hell-Ship Morgan" (1936) with George Bancroft, "Fury" (1936) and "Western Gold" (1937) with Smith Ballew. He also appeared in the Paul Kelly comedy "Join the Marines" (1937). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Start Cheering" (1938), "Everybody's Baby" (1939) with Jed Prouty and "Espionage Agent" (1939). He also appeared in the Melvyn Douglas comedy "Good Girls Go to Paris" (1939) and the Vivien Leigh hit dramatic adaptation "Gone With the Wind" (1939). Hickman more recently acted in the action picture "Sakima and the Masked Marvel" (1943) with William Forrest. Hickman passed away in December 1949 at the age of 69.
