Jacqueline Evans
Jacqueline Evans was an actress who made a successful career for herself in film. Evans's career in acting began with her roles in various films like the Bruce Bennett action flick "Daniel Boone, Trail Blazer" (1956), the dramatic adaptation "The Sun Also Rises" (1957) with Tyrone Power and "The Bravados" (1958). She also appeared in the drama "The Singer Not the Song" (1961) with Dirk Bogarde. Her film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like "Guyana: Cult of the D*mned" (1979), the Albert Finney horror film "Looker" (1981) and the Richard Harris drama "El Triunfo de un Hombre Llamado Caballo" (1982). She also landed a role in the miniseries "Evita Peron" (1980-81). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in "Missing" (1982), the comedy sequel "The Sting II" (1982) with Jackie Gleason and the Tom Hanks comedy "Volunteers" (1985). Evans more recently appeared in "Agatha Christie's "Murder in Three Acts"" (CBS, 1986). Evans passed away in June 1989 at the age of 75.
