Jake Paltrow
Writer-director Jake Paltrow grew up with actress Blythe Danner for a mom and actress Gwyneth for an older sister, but chose instead to follow in the footsteps of his writer-director father, Bruce Paltrow. He began his career as a director on acclaimed TV crime dramas including "NYPD Blue" (ABC, 1993-2005) before setting his sights on feature film. In 2007, he made his feature writing and directing debut with "The Good Night" (2007), a romantic comedy exploring the line between fantasy and reality. The film debuted at Sundance before going on to receive limited art house release in the U.S.
