John Barrie was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Barrie's career beginnings included film roles in the Dirk Bogarde drama "Victim" (1961) and the Virginia Maskell dramatic adaptation "The Wild and the Willing" (1964). Barrie then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in the crime feature "The File of the Golden Goose" (1969) with Yul Brynner and the adaptation "The Oblong Box" (1969) with Vincent Price. Later in his career, Barrie acted in "Patton" (1970).
