Maidel Turner was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. In her early acting career, Turner appeared in such films as "Another Language" (1933), "Olsen's Big Moment" (1933) and "A Modern Hero" (1934). She also appeared in "It Happened One Night" (1934) with Clark Gable and "The Life of Vergie Winters" (1934). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "Unknown Blonde" (1934), the Edward Arnold drama "Diamond Jim" (1935) and "Life Returns" (1935). She also appeared in "Magnificent Obsession" (1935). Nearing the end of her career, she tackled roles in "Mutiny Ahead" (1935), the horror feature "The Raven" (1935) with Boris Karloff and "The Bridge of Sighs" (1936). She also appeared in the comedy adaptation "State of the Union" (1948) with Spencer Tracy. Turner more recently acted in the Bing Crosby comedy "Here Comes the Groom" (1951). Turner passed away in April 1953 at the age of 65.
