Maude Turner Gordon
Maude Turner Gordon was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Gordon began her acting career with roles in such films as "The Honeymoon" (1917), "The Early Bird" (1924) and "The Palm Beach Girl" (1926). She also appeared in "The Wizard" (1927). Her film career continued throughout the twenties in productions like "Illusion" (1929), "Kid Gloves" (1929) and "The Last of Mrs. Cheyney" (1929) with Norma Shearer. She also appeared in the drama "The Marriage Playground" (1929) with Mary Brian. In the latter half of her career, she tackled roles in the Marilyn Miller adaptation "Sally" (1930), "Ladies' Man" (1931) and the drama "Back Street" (1932) with Irene Dunne. Gordon more recently acted in the Kay Francis drama "Living on Velvet" (1934). Gordon passed away in January 1940 at the age of 72.
