Michael Man-Kin Chow
Michael Chow found incredible success as an accomplished actor, appearing in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Chow appeared in such films as the adventure "Marco Polo" (1961) with Rory Calhoun, the Anthony Quinn adaptation "The Savage Innocents" (1961) and the Charlton Heston period drama "55 Days at Peking" (1963). He also appeared in the Sean Connery action film "You Only Live Twice" (1967), the drama "Joanna" (1968) with Genevieve Waite and the comedy "Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?" (1978) with George Segal. He continued to act in productions like the crime feature "Hammett" (1982) with Frederic Forrest, "Shanghai Surprise" (1986) with Sean Penn and the Jeffrey Wright dramatic biopic "Basquiat" (1996). He also appeared in the Mel Gibson smash hit action flick "Lethal Weapon 4" (1998). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Ghost Mom" (Fox, 1993-94). In his more recent career, he continued to act in the Jackie Chan box office smash action picture "Rush Hour" (1998), the Jackie Chan smash hit action movie "Rush Hour 2" (2001) and the Jackie Chan box office smash action picture "Rush Hour 3" (2007). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Son of the Dragon" (2006-07). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Relic Hunter" (1999-2002). Most recently, Chow acted in the dramatic adaptation "My Sister's Keeper" (2009) with Cameron Diaz.
