Michel Colombier

Michel Colombier boasts musical talents that have been featured in a variety of Hollywood productions. Colombier began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the drama "A Young World" (1966) with Christine Delaroche, the Eric Braeden sci-fi picture "Colossus: The Forbin Project" (1970) and "Un Flic" (1972). His music also appeared in "Le Hasard Et La Violence" (1973) and the Anicee Alvina romance sequel "Paul et Michelle" (1974). Colombier was nominated for a Best Original Score - Motion Picture Golden Globe Award for "White Nights" in 1985. In the eighties, Colombier's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "The Couch Trip" (1988) with Dan Aykroyd, the thriller "Cop" (1988) with James Woods and "Satisfaction" (1988). His work was also in the drama "In extremis" (1988) with Sophie Duez. Colombier's music was also featured in "The Dark Wind" (1993), "The Program" (1993) with James Caan and "Major League II" (1994) with Charlie Sheen. His music was also featured in the Vanessa Paradis drama "Elisa" (1995) and the Pamela Anderson action flick "Barb Wire" (1996). Colombier's music was most recently used in the comedy "Mean Girls" (2004) with Lindsay Lohan. Colombier passed away in November 2004 at the age of 65.
