Saul Gorss worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. With debut roles in the Sterling Hayden crime picture "The Asphalt Jungle" (1950), the Robert Mitchum drama "His Kind of Woman" (1951), and the crime drama "Jeopardy" (1953) with Barbara Stanwyck, Gorss began his career in film. Gorss then began to rack up a number of film credits including roles in "Unchained" (1955) with Elroy Hirsch, "Tea and Sympathy" (1956) and the adaptation "Warlock" (1959) with Richard Widmark. He also appeared in "Ice Palace" (1960) with Richard Burton. Toward the end of his career, Gorss acted in the western "Red Tomahawk" (1967) with Howard Keel.
