One of Steven Soderberg's earliest films starring George Clooney, Jennifer Lopez, Ving Rhames, and Don Cheadle Jack Foley is an expert thief After busting out of prison he steals something much bigger...Karen Sisco's heart Unfortunately she's a federal agent Are they willing to risk it all for love above the law? The whole thing is a game of cat-and-mouse with undeniable chemistry between Clooney and Lopez Who's actually doing the chasing? It's a fine effort by Soderberg but I've seen better and the ending could've been shorter

Easily one of the greatest films of all time. No joke. Somehow Soderbergh was able to bring to life a totally singular Elmore Leonard novella in a way that enhances the original material. I'll never understand how the cast and crew were able to weave together a heist, romance, jailbreak, action, and really witty comedy all in one movie. It's in my lifetime top 10, and I watch it a few times a year. Everything about this film is perfect.
