In the wake of her grandmother's funeral, hotel manager Lisa Reisert (Rachel McAdams) is waiting to fly back home when she meets charming Jackson Rippner (Cillian Murphy) at check-in. She thinks it luck that they're seated together on the plane, but soon learns otherwise. Jackson hopes to assassinate the head of Homeland Security, but to do so, he needs Lisa to reassign the official's room number at her hotel. As insurance, Jackson has kidnapped Lisa's father (Brian Cox).

Como lo que es, una película de thriller psicológico (lo que significa que no la voy a ver todas las semanas como otras), la encuentro genial! Me puso los pelos de punta en todo momento, Cillian Murphy se las mandó! Logran hacer de un avión un lugar muy tenso. Creo que quedó genial como Johnny Crane (xd) era un psicópata manipulador, y a la vez, un cobarde que se pica con facilidad, perdiendo la compostura en el tercer acto. Conclusión, la recomiendo totalmente para ponerte nervioso con un bro más aterrador que Jonathan Crane 🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿. Cuando mi mala memoria haga su trabajo desvaneciendola de mis recuerdos la volveré a ver!

RED EYE is a taut, nifty thriller with a very 90's feel, utilizing familiar movie conventions to good effect, and taking full advantage of airport/flight anxieties. It's the best kind of B movie, earning enough audience buy-in early on to keep viewers engaged when things (inevitably) go a little over the top. Let the popcorn fly!
