It goes from slow to pacy relatively quickly, though it doesn't really feel in keeping with the pace of the story at the time. The story, settings, and acting all deliver a level of threat and suspense which keeps it interesting. There are just too many moments where the performances are predictable and too obviously scripted to make it something special
