You've seen (or avoided) dozens of movies like this, but director Juan Vera, who co-wrote the script with Daniel Cúparo, treats the material with more intelligence than you'll see in the average Hollywood middle-age crisis.

Though predicatable and rather conventional, the dialogues and the conviction of the protagonists was so intense, that this stands above many similar rom-coms which weren't really so comedic. I almost considered it a 4,5, but I felt some of the supporting cast was too superficially presented, like Marcos' Dad.

The acting is great, the writing not so much. There was no foundation for any big love affair. Hard to believe they fell in love. And all of the action consisted of ringing doorbells and slamming doors. Finally, the cliches. Angry waspy mother, disapproving children and friends, husband who wants custody, and more. I couldn't find anything new or intriguing about this film.

La historia es buena aunque un poco mas larga de lo necesario, falto una media hora de edición. La dirección de arte de la película falla y recarga cada cuadro de forma tal que muchos parecen tomados mas de un comercial, rayando en lo cursi, en lo kitsch. El guion se diluye con el paso del tiempo, tiene muchos huecos y prolongaciones innecesarias que aburren y ocultan el buen fondo de la película. La verdad resulta aburrida de no ser por el esfuerzo de Darín y de Morán, la cual es gran actriz pero no la mejor para este papel. Pudo haber sido fenomenal pero cayó en malas manos.
