Leave it to Miller to expand beyond a litte farm and creat a new world for a little pig to play and wonder. Life if dark but is kind too a good story allways is.

Perhaps one of the bleakest distopian movies ever made. It's up there with Citizen Kane. A stunningly creative look at the world as it is from the point of view of the ultimate innocent - a friendly, lovable pig, always trying to do the best for everyone, trapped in a world of violence and exploitation. An accurate portrayal of today's world which gets truer by the year as collectively humanity fails to deal with the greed and violence of the world's power elite. It's only rival in modern cinema history is Bond Joon-ho's Okja, another masterpiece, but with an almost, tacked-on, happy ending. Jim Beatson
