I found it boring and lacked believability. Too tedious to watch and I didn't enjoy the plot went from the main character being affectionate with his grandmother who was vibrant to her dying in a matter of seconds to his dad like all movies like this a jail bird to being released to being the macho dad classic listen to me or else because I'm a hardening criminal. Honestly no originality at all.

A VECES LA VIDA ES LA QUE DECIDE POR TI Formo mi burbuja de soledad y melancolía cuando recién conozco a personajes cómo Dan, siento pena y tristeza mientras que le deseo un milagro, para que esa luz que contiene dentro de él consiga salir al exterior y entrar en una bombilla que le dará la felicidad que busca. Nadie, solo yo puedo sacarme de esa triste presión que me inculcan las películas de éste estilo, cómo ésta primera dirigida por Mario Casas. Me gusta ver personajes maldecidos por su desgracia, la que les toca (lo que mucha gente no quiere ver). Ese extrarradio de Barcelona, dónde la presencia familiar no ayuda tampoco. Y que él y dos más, Reno y Vio, se ven obligados a atracar irregularmente alguna joyería, no quieren pero son víctimas de ese destino. El notable debut y ópera prima de Mario Casas me hace sonreír mucho más que entristecerme. Tiene más aciertos que errores pero no muy numerosos. Tiene de todo, y por eso es un estupendo comienzo. Nos trae una mezcla entre cine quinqui y el cine social español de principios de los 2000. Qué además crea un perfecto ambiente dónde se huele a la mínima: pesadumbre, polvo alcoholizado, gritos y toxicidad, es decir, ansiedad y la tristeza familiar más humillante que se puede ver en esos barrios, en esas situaciones. Oscar Casas luce por muchos momentos, pero también se le nota verde por otros muy notorios, noté en varias secuencias la obsesión a mirar a cámara, desjuga la trama (lo mejor cuándo quema ese graffiti en la pared y rompe a llorar). No obstante, tengo en cuenta a Candela González y Farid Bechara, también debutantes, dándole mucha vida a la trama. Candela juega un papel estupendo consiguiendo que sea mi favorita en esta obra llena de acción emocional. No puedo decir que no a esta historia, aunque nos la trae sencilla, prefiriendo otros aspectos antes que profundizar en sus protagonistas, los cuáles me quedo con ganas de conocer más a fondo, no es mala elección desprender la energía que nos acaban transmitiendo estos dos jóvenes: emocional y visual. Espero frenético más sobre estas nuevas estrellas. RICARDO VALERO, SEPTIEMBRE 2023, ESPAÑA.
