In many ways, this film is a classic who-done-it slasher. However, there are absurd elements that simultaneously make no sense while making the seemingly straightforward film into something special. Go to Full Review

The acting talent is stellar for this kind of movie. Go to Full Review

Has some amazing moments even it doesn't add up to much, and there is a reason that scenes like a murder on ice have become more iconic than the film itself. Go to Full Review

Bruce M @BruceMc Oct 21 Really not very good, a poor mix of gialli and slasher that doesn't make a whole lot of sense, with whole sequences and characters that add nothing to the narrative. Good piece on Wikipedia about the problems with production. Samantha Eggar and John Vernon are quite good, though. See more J H May 22 I love Lynne Griffin (and not because we are Facebook friends) and this movie has its moments, but ultimately it makes no sense whatsoever. You can definitely tell it was made by two directors at two different times. See more Jason W 12/08/2024 Basically an old, creepy director brings women to his estate to audition for a role and sleeps with them all. There is a killer picking the girls off one by one. The mask and weapon are memorable as is the ice skating scene and the acting is decent. It kind of feels like a soap opera but with a masked killer and lots of breast shots. See more nick s 11/20/2024 The actors do a credible job and the movie has a good vibe. But for me the story doesn't gel particularly well. It feels like a lot of half baked ideas cobbled together in the editing room. See more Steve D 03/09/2023 Ineffective slasher with little going on. See more 12/10/2022 Worth watching for the ice skating scene. Everything else was just ‘meh’. And the killer reveal at the end — seems like they just decided on one and said ‘Its you’ See more Read all reviews
