Really well shot movie and some clever dialogue, good script and well acted by the cast in this different type of slasher, was a little disappointed by the final scenes and killer motive reveal but all in all a good and better than average 80s slasher film 3/5

Not a bad movie a little bit slow a little bit well confusing but pointless at parts. Spoiler alert or just plot really. An Actress and her husband are making a movie.... the movie is about a psychiatric patient in order to get the full experience as a psychiatric patient and pr for when the movie is made she decides to fake/ bamboozle her way into the psychiatric hospital with the help of her husband to do some research, and to find out what it's really like..... anyhow she fakes a psychotic breakdown and gets committed but instead of doing research she ends up going crazy for real. Her husband desires to recast when his wife loses her mind, he invites some actresses who want a big brake to his snow house in the mountains to see who he will give the part too by living with them all for a bit ..... crazy wife escapes crazy wife jeloues...... I promise I didn't give any of this away..... see all in 20nmins still Creppy though ..... but it's simple like a long episode of Murder She Wrote that is scary and gory

On the positive side, there's Vernon and Eggar even being in the film. I enjoy these veteran actors and wish they had more to do. You can also argue the killer's mask is pretty scary. And, at least, the ice skating murder is original.
