Melissa L It was an okay movie, but more of a mystery than a horror movie. If you're up for cheesy '80s horror movies, you may find this enjoyable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/08/24 Full Review David R C'mon, the movie is s**t. But, with a title and poster like this, what would you expect? Bad acting, writing and direction? Correct. Eye candy? Correct. It's a goofy popcorn movie that you watch in the background or as a drinking game to guess the next way one of the buff health club members are going to expire (or fail to renew their membership). It is what it is. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/07/24 Full Review Carlos I I can't give it too high of points because of how goddamn ridiculous it is, but I mean, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having fun with it. It's the perfect shlocky movie to have on at a party with a few beers. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/20/23 Full Review Chris M This is a near perfect horror movie from 1980s. It has all what horror fans are looking for. Interesting characters, compelling story, nude scenes and gore. My only gripe was the weak ass sequel bait. That was problem forced on to the makers by the studio. Plus the sequel bait doesn't really ruin anything good built in the movie. This is what "Perfect" was missing. A jealous ghost and killer computer. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/09/23 Full Review Jason B An absolutely phenomenal C grade horror film. I have watched so many cheesy '70s to '90s horror films and this still managed to surprise me. It is actually well shot but the dialogue is aware of how schmaltzy the premise is. From the awesome opening one shot that lets you know not to take this film too seriously to the finale of supernatural hokum this has far more high points than low ones. Surprisingly shocking deaths that are very imaginitive, especially considering the preponderance of schlocky horror movies prior to and after this, with wonderfully done practical effects that are as skillfully made as Carpenter's version of The Thing. And, of course, in addition to well done gore, we have heaps of gratuitous nudity, haywire computers, random ghost witches, and groan-inducing but accurate and well-suited synth music and awesome late eighties aerobics dance/workout sequences. If you are a fan of cult classic horror movies and haven't ever heard of this(like i hadn't and this was randomly recommended on Amazon Prime), check this out, you won't be disappointed! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/19/23 Full Review R P Who knew working out could be so dangerous? Death Spa it was nice watching an old slasher movie that was fun and I didn't have to think too hard to get through the movie.
