03/12/2016 Although her character is supposed to be a pimp, a fraud and a tough business woman, Biyouna is very moving as "Madam Aldjeria" and we understand her motives which are human. Just like her, all the other characters are marginal and have a dream - they try to make it in nowadays' Algeria, which Nadir Mokneche films beautifully. The movie, although it's a drama, is colourful and as refreshing as the lovely Aylin Prandi (Paloma). See more 06/29/2012 Exellente comédie à la Almodovar! See more 05/02/2010 ummm, bagus cm ad bbrp bagian yg lama n membosankan. yg jd paloma cantik bgt. See more 09/05/2009 Interesting to discover an Algerian movie. The plot could have happened anywhere, but the characters were quite special, particularly Mme Aldjeria - a strong woman with little scruples to achieve her dream. However, the film is too long and with a slow pace sometimes; I wouldn't watch it again. See more 08/03/2009 If a little long, the film is nonetheless engaging, and deals with difficult realities in Algeria. Biyouna is a rich performer. See more 01/14/2009 Shiny, funny, smart, enjoyable, it's a bit long but quite refreshing. See more Read all reviews
