For some unknown reason, the men on Mars are dying. Worried that the Martian population will soon die out, the planet's leaders decide to send Nyah (Patricia Laffan) to Earth to bring back a fresh supply of healthy, virile men. After Nyah's ship crash-lands in Scotland, she seeks help at a village inn. She tries to convince the men, including a disbelieving scientist (Joseph Tomelty) and an ex-convict (Peter Reynolds), to come with her, but doesn't understand their wives' objections.

Mike W Nov 30 In the vein of The Day The Earth Stood Still" except we humans are portrayed in a better light. See more Anthony B Oct 1 I was born in the 1940's and this 1954 movie was a must watch for me. OK...Very campy...Very bizarre...BUT very enjoyable. Highly recommended as a must watch for retro nerds like me. See more ZD K 12/31/2023 I think( I do that sometimes) that those ŵho criticism of this 1954 film truely lack an imagination and obviously Never grew up in the 1950's. A time before cable TV, cell phones, CGI, and the glorious Internet!! To call NYAH a " bore" is a remark from someone who obviously NEVER saw her in 1958 As a growing 8 year old man!!! SHE WAS HOT 🔥 far from being a bore a young man's fantasy and nothing less!! A " BORE" must of been said by an Android void of any real human emotions!! Sure this film is no BARBARELLA but sadly Jane Fonda was not available to play Nyah!.But Patricia Laffan...she is pretty hot herself now her Robot may be kinda a bore but Nyah, NEVER!! this is a fun movie, a bit atmospheric with a decent cast and most enjoyable on a cloudy, rainy day!! Sooo please be kind and just enjoy it for when it was made, 1954, NOT 2024!! Happy Viewing!! ZD See more deke p 01/15/2022 1954!! Surprisingly interesting, maybe more so if a little high. Not 'spoofy', but minimal 'campy' in parts. Took itself a little serious, & good atmosphere/music. I recommend it, cuz u jus gotta see it. Wild lookn 1954 'flying saucer', never seen anythig like it. The Mars girl dressed in black leather & cape, mean &threatening. A ridiculous big ROBOT, like Robbie the Robot on Lost in Space. Yes, seems like a ridiculous campy title. Never hrd of nor saw before on The Movie Channel, 1 .13. 2022 See more george l 01/15/2022 Surprisingly enjoyable. Watched the entire movie & got caught up in the plot. See more 12/27/2020 Don't bother, it is terrible. Bad spaceship and robot special effects, dodgy script, bad, bad, bad. I only watched it as the devil girl was supposed to look rather nice in her outfit. Meh, no she does not. See more Read all reviews
