андрей н The movie is strange, very protracted at the beginning, with an incomprehensible ending, with an incomprehensible idea, incomprehensible plot, But at the same time, there is something brighter and kinder in this film, although it is extremely unformed and not finished .... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Aside from some decent acting, this picture is sometimes weird and oversentimental, although the first half of the film is very well constructed. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member These brothers just get a little too close. And nobody in their family seems to really notice. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A beautiful, fascinating, sexual love story. I wasn't discomfortable at all about the incest thing, two main actors are brilliant at their jobs. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Well photographed movie about Romance, weird, condoned by society romance. But still romance. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review josh g This film really didn't catch any straws here. I felt like the taboo theme was just there to make headlines and sell it. Because really if Abranches really did care about making a "love story" he would've added much more substance than there is. The dialogue is weak, the story is weak, the characters are weak. Showing their relationship as children baffled me because not one scene actually showed them building a relationship. How could a situation like this happen if they had no real chemistry being shown? It was simply like they were thrust together, which for the audience standards, were. It simply didn't have depth. Incest universally tabooed and the director didn't explore that. The challenges that these brother would've faced in the real world was completely overlooked just to have hot sex scenes between the two good looking actors. Horribly watered down. Does to gay male incest as Reefer Madness does to smoking pot. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
