Charlie Swift (Pierce Brosnan), aka "Fast Charlie," is a fixer with a problem: the target he's whacked is missing his head. And he must prove it's the intended target to the man who paid for the hit -- New Orleans' most prominent and most ruthless mobster, Beggar Mercado (Gbenga Akinnagbe). Charlie enlists Marcie Kramer (Morena Baccarin), the victim's ex-wife and a woman with the backbone and skillset Charlie needs. Dragging Marcie back into a past she was determined to escape sends the two of them on a wild and unpredictable odyssey that's unexpectedly amusing, action propelled, and ultimately heartfelt. Along the way, Charlie and Marcie fight to protect the legacy of Charlie's best friend and mentor, Stan Mullen (James Caan in his final performance), while bringing down Beggar and his entire operation.

The narrative isn't particularly exciting, but between the good work of Brosnan and Baccarin, the efficient direction of Noyce, and the moments of sudden violence and efficient black humour, "Fast Charlie" manages to entertain. Full review in Spanish.

The film thrives on a relaxed pace, blending action and dark comedy. But it is a double-edged sword; while it keeps Fast Charlie from becoming too grim, it also makes some scenes feel off-kilter and less impactful.

I saw about 20 minutes of this movie. It lost my attention quickly because its very slow. Shocked I couldn't keep watching after all the good ratings on it.

The best thing about this movies was the character development, mostly of the main characters that showed them as more human than just a stereo type or one dimensional. The romantic aspect that develops is a welcome distraction to the main plot makes it that much more enjoyable.

“Fast Charlie” Ask Charlie is the delightful film of hitman and killers revenge greed and honor. Pierce Brosman Is fast Charlie. In this film fast Charlie is a hit man for hire on the verge of retirement. He has some last minute things he needs to take care of to secure the way he may finally get to be retired from the business. James Kahn is also in this film as is Morena Baccarin. I highly recommend this film to an audience of 16 and older and find that this one very good.

I don't know if the positive ratings are trying to be nice to Pierce Brosnan, which is fine I guess, but I don't think the movie itself deserves to be at an almost 80 percent on here. It really felt like a Steven Seagal movie not even including the aging action man, but definitely including the really heavy handed and formulaic script, the awkward younger love interest, and the weird fake southern accent. This movie is watchable, but it's not an 80 percent.
