Critics Consensus

This sequel is little more than an excuse to stage elaborate, gory scenes of characters getting killed off.

Overall, ‘Final Destination 2’ is a worthy sequel. Oct 29, 2024 Full Review Michael Walsh Nerdist Final Destination 2 is legitimately an excellent movie; it's a fun and suspenseful film that manages to improve on the original in every way while also standing entirely on its own. Jan 31, 2018 Full Review Steve Newton Georgia Straight Just the fact that it manages to keep the viewer involved despite the plot's general ridiculousness makes it the most effective Vancouver-shot horror flick in years. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/17/24 Full Review cinema f “You can't cheat death twice.” I won’t be going behind any truck again that’s for sure. Clear coming back for the second film was amazing. 5/5 stars. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/26/24 Full Review Char T A great film! Plays on the first film's idea, but grows more suspense and thrill. It's interesting to see what else the writer's come up with. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/27/24 Full Review Gianvito A Not as good as the first one but i still had fun with this Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/18/24 Full Review jonathan n This is one of the few films that I've seen where the protagonists are actually the villains. Kimberley sets up most of the deaths due to her constant misinterpretation of the visions. In the end she and Burke just move on after every incident as if nothing happens. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/17/24 Full Review William B Better than the first film. Actually entertaining to watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/11/24 Full Review Read all reviews
