As hard as it is to watch, this is an important movie for everyone older than 18 to see. This should be required viewing, as it is the most well-documented and clinical record of what happened. It's painful, yes. But it is, sadly, needed in order to make sure this never happens again.

Sobering documentary shot by members of the military who arrived only a few days after the liberation of these camps. Many of the survivors and Nazi guards are shown - as well as the facilities of the camps too. Remember, this footage was shot in 1945, these shots were no more staged than home movies of Christmas-time or of a wedding - the people and conditions are real. What I didn't know about were the tours given to neighboring townsfolk and captured Nazi soldiers; many were as horrified as the allied soldiers. I watched this at Archive.org. WARNING: footage includes nudity of survivors and corpses.

Bring your girl to see this and she won't be your girl long! ;) If you can watch this the entire hour, you must have strange issues of your own. Living proof that one man's "Final Solution" is another's "Concentration Camp". Filmed by U.S. military cameramen at the order of Gen. Dwight Eisenhower, the project of filming all these atrocities at numerous camps provided the basis for war crime trials. A testament that should never be forgotten. Man dies, but Teacher History does not. My full score is, of course, related to the cruelty of man and to how effectively this evidence was compiled, not with the acceptance of such ideas. 100/100

This is Allied propaganda, of course, but these attacks, which might seem blunt or ineffective to us today, cannot dilute the visceral impact of the footage, such as the montage overviews of camp living conditions and gas chamber protocol.
