Tim Brayton Alternate Ending One can squint and see the version of Hellraiser: Revelations that's good. It's a very far distance form this one. Ash P You know, Hellworld? I might've been too harsh on you. Because now we got the ninth movie of the franchise, Revelations. At least give Hellworld credit, it does work for being different for a change within the franchise. This one had no effort whatsoever. So bad that it is hilariously bad. You'd get it done within an hour and a few minutes because that's the runtime of it. What's the story? Well, two jackasses went to Mexico, filming themselves. They bought the Lament Configuration from this guy in a bar and solved it, summoning Pinhead, not played by Doug Bradley. You know the funny thing is? Doug Bradley declined to play as Pinhead from here on forward and was instead voiced by Fred Tatasciore. I would not be surprised that Doug Bradley's last performance was Hellworld because the previous movies sucked hard since Pinhead was wasted most of the time or was just rarely there. Sure, it isn't Doug Bradley, but Fred does okay as Pinhead there's big shoes to fill in. On the other side of town, we see a family of one of the jackasses and the other has a girlfriend who is wondering what happened to them. Well, to their surprise, one of them shows up at their doorstep without much explanation. Meanwhile, Pinhead is just eavesdropping in on the family while stuck in that damn box. We do get to see the consequences of the two fellas and well, I give this movie one of its redeeming qualities that it is like a Hellraiser movie as one of them is trying to bring the other one back to life like in the first movie. The acting? Pfft. What acting? The acting wasn't that great, along with the line delivery that I couldn't help but laugh at how bad they are that makes you wonder who wrote this. Hell, that one time when one of them was carrying a shotgun spouting nonsense to his mother and girlfriend. He even shot his firends father, and there wasn't much of a reaction. The production quality is awful yet I'll give it credit that it has two locations to film in, yet it isn't enough for how bad the quality was. Any other redeeming quality this movie has? Well, I like the gore that's going on in this. The effects are also good. Much better except that the makeup for Pinhead looks so bad that you'd get it from the Dollar Store. Though the makeup for one of the friends looks better for what it's worth. There is a twist that felt good yet was ruined by another twist. Unlike how Hellseeker pissed me off after seeing it from start to finish, this movie is at least something that I find laughably bad that I'll take this over Hellseeker. Yeah, I give Revelations two and a half Cenobite that I swear to the One God that he looks like he came from Attack on Titan. 2.5/10. Yeah, this movie sucks. I'm onto the second-to-last one. Bye. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/16/25 Full Review Craig W. One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/25/25 Full Review thiago s Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas de terror são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/15/25 Full Review Jude H. Worst horror movie ever Made Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/12/25 Full Review Justin T I don’t get why you wouldn’t make the lead cenobite something other than Pinhead if you don’t have Doug Bradley, especially when the replacement actor isn’t as good but might have been good if he was a different cenobite. Most of the acting is pretty weak and soap opera style. The writing isn’t good either. They feel the need to spell everything out rather than implying it and letting the audience work out what’s going on, this is mostly because they assume you haven’t seen any of the previous films. It’s a short feature film but there is still repetition and boredom, it could have been half the length without losing anything. A lot of it is pretty goofy, more so than scary. Almost everything that made the Hellraiser series great is gone by this point. It’s not totally unwatchable and it gets an extra point for that but it’s certainly not even close to average. The bad acting makes it hard to watch and the bad writing makes it boring. The cenobites are not intimidating, there is no tension and it’s too bright. This is basically a bad cosplay based on bad fan fiction made in some LA brats parent’s house and yes, it’s the worst Hellraiser so far. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/30/25 Full Review Read all reviews
