Audience Member This is the type of badly dubbed Italian sword-and-sandal epic that those old SNL Hercules sketches made fun of. A Mongol warrior is sent to kill Hercules after Hercules single handedly defeats their attach on Poland. It's a terrible film to be sure, but it's actually pretty entreating for all of the wrong reasons. An enjoyable film for connoisseurs of bad cinema. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member May I suggest that they duel to the death? While traveling across the Middle East Hercules encounters some villagers, including a beautiful woman, who are troubled by a tyrant who is conquering their countryside. As Hercules approaches the tyrant, he discovers their foe is none other than Genhis Kahn. Hercules will stop at nothing to bring down this conquering fanatic. “I see no reason why you should be alive.” Domenico Paolla, director of Innocents from Hell, Execution, Women of Devil’s Island, Avengers of the Seven Seas, and Carnival of Song, delivers Hercules Against the Barbarians. The storyline for this picture is a bit ridiculous; however, the action scenes are well delivered and the action scenes aren’t half bad. The cast was better than average and includes Mark Forest. “This girl is worth a kingdom.” We DVR’d this film some time ago shortly after watching the Lou Ferrigno Hercules picture from 1983. This was an interesting movie and I enjoyed the settings and action sequences; however, the thought of Hercules and Genghis Khan doing battle made my stomach curdle. Overall, this isn’t and awful film and is worth watching once. “You must obey.” Grade: C Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Hercules helps the Polish army against a massive Mongol horde.
