Visually superb with saturated colors in low lighting. The story creates ambiguity about the character played by Mark Ruffalo. Meg Ryan looks lovely and interprets her conflicted persona very well. The movie rewards the patient viewer, but obviously its intended audience is not people who want to see a classic crime movie.

I used to like Meg Ryan, but I was shocked by her role in this. She plays the dumbest skank I've ever seen.. and having known a few dumb as rocks skanks in my life, not one was as dumb or as skanky as Meg in this stupid movie, to the point that I found her level of stupid skankiness completely unbelievable. Hard pass.
