It has a lot going for it, Great acting performances, a unique story, and crazy hobos. I went in with no expectations, and was pleasantly surprised by an engaging, and entertaining Lovecraftian story.

In the Earth is the kind of movie that’s destined to gain a cult following ... There’s some weaker stuff to sit through, but when this film hits its stride, it really hits its stride.

It may have been visually and audibly impactful but as a narrative it was incoherent. So many logical inconsistencies that it’s impossible to overlook them and immerse oneself in the film.
