What to Know

Critics Consensus

Despite lacking some of the book's subtler shadings, and suffering from some clumsy casting, Interview with a Vampire benefits from Neil Jordan's atmospheric direction and a surfeit of gothic thrills.

Joseph L Cruise is having a blast in this one and I had a blast watching him eat up the scenery and well...anyone close by. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/27/25 Full Review Pedro Henrique C Interview With The Vampire (1994) is a film that I didn't like, I found the story very weak, the scenes with the vampires very poorly directed. The only positive thing is the main cast. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/26/25 Full Review Stephen C Success in 2 hours and 2 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/26/25 Full Review David N. Dope atmosphere. Loved the costume and art direction. Pitt could have dropped the accent but Cruise hams it up well. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/26/25 Full Review Mikayla C. A bit weird to get into, but once you’ve settled into the story you’re THERE. Dunst is magical. Incredibly strange film, but if you’re a fan of vampirical lore and the discussion of life and morality then this movie will do it for you. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/23/25 Full Review Jovy J Good flick, not great. Speaking of homonyms, Louis' hangdog affect seriously begins to grate Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/23/25 Full Review Read all reviews
