Reminds me of a cross between something like Jeramiah Johnson and The Straight Story. A Western Road Movie Adventure type of thing. It's got a timeless message and everything is masterfully done. It feels like a dream quite often with how gorgous the vistas are shot and everything follows a logical order as well. Never in the slightest feels jumpy between the past and present also. A real testament to the editing and direction. Everyone should try this once. real impactful and meaningful.

This movie gets a few extra points because it's based on real events and they couldn't have just smoothed out and polished the story like I would have wanted them to. The story is nothing too good, again, because it's real, but I thoroughly enjoyed the narrative technique and the zigzag of the non-linearness. Good storytelling in this movie, especially considering the story is a real one. It does a good job conveying the events and still being a movie, and an immersive one at that.
