Crime novelist Ben Castelano (François Cluzet) gets a taste of the real thing when he runs into old chum Brice Cantor (Bernard Giraudeau). Both men are writers, but are worlds apart in terms of financial success. Ben is struggling to find a publisher for his most recent novel, while Brice's books are best sellers.
