Audience Member Crazy disjointed story , still a notch above many of their fox and MGM films , as it features Vivian Blaine and some nice songs. This one has them in various guises, in zoos suits , in drag , as southern gentlemen, a few laughs. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Laurel and Hardy are fronting a scam for gasoline pills during America's wartime shortage of oil. However, soon enough they help a young lady recover 10,000 dollars after her family was scammed. Though it's entertaining and funny, it's not as creative as Laurel and Hardy's best works, and the pace is intermittent as the action is often broken up. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member the laurel n hardy 20th century fox film but thats not saying much. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Typical Laurel and Hardy gags. The stor is a pretty decent one though but begins to get bogged down near the end. At times, Laurel and Hardy become bit parts in their own film which is kindof refreshing when you think of all the ego driven stuff that comes out these days.
