Tom Spoors Loud and Clear Reviews Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One may have some fresh ideas, but it mostly feels like a mesh of everything wrong with superhero films today. Rated: 2.5/5 Jan 7, 2025 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files Like the Arrowverse version, it shows there’s no improving on the original. Creators would be better served simply bringing that story from Marv Wolfman and George Perez to live-action/animation instead of making wholesale changes. Rated: 4/10 Apr 23, 2024 Full Review Jennifer Borget Common Sense Media Whether you're a long-time fan of the DC heroes, or new to the franchise, you'll be able to jump right in and enjoy the movie for what it is, an action-packed adventure with some heart. Jan 30, 2024 Full Review Douglas Davidson Elements of Madness ... possesses the unenviable task of bringing all the characters together, setting the larger story in motion, and narrowing its focus down to a single character that connects them all, doing so with a level of grace and emotion that will surprise ... Rated: 4/5 Jan 26, 2024 Full Review Jonathan Garcia Dynamic Duel Podcast Its unconventional narrative structure ultimately pays off as its emotional ending sets up the promise of a fascinating conclusion to this animated universe. Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 23, 2024 Full Review Ricky Church Flickering Myth Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One is the beginning of an ambitious finale for the Tomorrowverse, and it meets its expectations well. D N The perks are seeing old characters and new interactions, but that's about it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/16/25 Full Review Stefan P How can you stray away that far from the source material which would’ve made an amazing amazing movie dum as DC? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/09/25 Full Review Mark H One of the worst things DC has every mad. All three movies are just soulless and painful to watch. There's no direction - it just pulls you along and you wish it would really stop. There's nothing redeeming about any one of these movies. They are all just terrible. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/30/25 Full Review Paul S The animation was really good, and I'm a big fan of the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic series, but I found the movie really boring and its story was all over the place. There are two other parts to the movie series, but I am not interested enough to watch them. If you want to know what happens, I'd say read the comic books rather than watch this. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/26/25 Full Review Gustavo R Watched all 3 parts of infinite crisis. This is DC way of getting rid of the alternate universes and merging all of them into one. While the story is very far fetched, origins and resolutions , the movies do have a nice bonus of showing a large numbers of DC super heroes together. Overall, a nice watch to the comic fan but not a real good story 🍿🍿🍿/5 on Max Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/25 Full Review Alexa K This review covers all three parts. Overall, I really enjoyed it! However, I deducted one star because it occasionally feels choppy and rushed, especially for a big finale wrapping up over a decade of continuity films. That said, given the negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. This film is best suited for those who have seen EVERY Tomorrowverse and DCAMU film since 2013 at a bare minimum. It’s not for casual viewers streaming it on HBO, as many likely didn’t realize it serves as a finale rather than a stand-alone. Some critiques feel unfair, often missing context. For instance, complaints about the animation style and "overuse of the multiverse theme" overlook important details. The "Tomorrowverse series" films have used this retro animation style since 2020 to set them apart—it’s a deliberate choice fitting this continuity. If someone disliked it in previous films, that’s one thing, but criticizing it here without context seems misplaced. There's a lot to pick apart for the film with directing, editing, and pacing. But when it comes to the multiverse itself, this an adaptation of the landmark 1980s comic, not an original standalone screenplay. The multiverse theme is a cornerstone of DC storytelling, dating back to the 1960s with *"The Flash of Two Worlds."* The film ties together nearly a decade of animated narratives, and dismissing the multiverse as overused tropes misses its significance—not just in this film but in DC’s legacy.
