Lanie Kerrigan (Angelina Jolie), a feature reporter at a Seattle television station, leads the ultimate superficial life, even though she thinks she has it all, like a superstar boyfriend, a gorgeous apartment, and a shot at a big network assignment. Her perfect world starts unraveling after a homeless street seer tells Lanie that she leads a meaningless existence, and will die the following week. When the savant's other predictions come true, Lanie begins to re-examine her life and priorities.

Critics Consensus

Though Jolie is appealing, Life or Something Like It is too contrived and predictable to convincingly convey its message of stopping to smell the roses.

super cute easy to watch film <3 blonde angelina is a totally vibe and even if it has many cliche scenes, the visuals are still cinematic and the plot is giving exactly what you're expecting to give in a nice way! So i would say it's a veritable romcom that everyone should watch. <3

Another movie I'm very surprised I never saw before. It's very easy to watch. It's impossible to not like the main character. You can take some lessons from the movie. It teaches you to cherish every moment of your life and to stay positive and true to yourself.

Bit of a surprise package. On a bored moment brought it up on Netflix thinking it would be really bad but no. Enjoyed it and dare I say in this day and age more thought provoking than soon serious movies around

Life or Something Like It (2002) is a film that manages to deliver what it promises, it's a bit of a crazy story I know but I actually found it quite fun to watch. I'm starting to marathon some Angelina Jolie movies.
