Tre protagonisti simpatici, seppur molto stilizzati nei loro marchiani difetti e grotteschi comportamenti, mescolano i loro destini con quelli di famosi personaggi del cinema italiano di inizi anni '90 in una Roma in fermento per i Mondiali di calcio.
Poche pause, tanti dialoghi , la maggior parte dei quali scorrevoli ed interessanti; seppure l'andamento delle vicende esula totalmente da quella che era la premessa di un "quasi" thriller per spostarsi su una commedia quasi di formazione.
Altrettanto deludente è il finale che, così come la prima scena, restano totalmente isolati dal resto delle sequenze.

Funny and Sad. In addition to the deft commentary on Italian cinema, the film has several things to recommend it. Engaging plot. Interconnection of history + memory + novelty. Fine acting and character development, especially the young trio at the heart of the story. They could have been reduced to self-indulgent, woody caricatures, but they're simultaneously strong and vulnerable, interesting, and ultimately likable.
