Trevor B Malevolence 3 was terrible, boring and dragged out!!! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/04/23 Full Review Audience Member What a tragic movie. From head to toe one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The acting, the story, and music was so poorly done. I think even half a star is too generous. Don't waste your time like I sadly did. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member What a way to kill the trilogy. An utter disappointment compared to parts 1 and 2. The film still has that beautiful 70s vibe and a great score, but thats where the positives end. The production value of this instalment feels very cheap and like a beginner made it. The acting is even worse. They try to make up for that fact by showcasing the women in their undergarments or topless, but it can't mask the stink of the crap acting. The plot is decent but executed horribly. I like how it continues right after part 1 and continues the story of Martin Bristol. But again, they don't use the head sack (like in part 2) and that makes the killer look ordinary vs so scary in part 1. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member I am a big fan of Malevolence 1 and 2. I was looking forward to seeing part 3 but this film although has a few good parts does not compare to the first two films. Itâ(TM)s hard to believe that Stevan Mena wrote this. The story itself was poorly written and Mena could have gone in so many different ways with the last chapter. This movie is a B movie with not to good actors. They are not even likable like in the first two films. You could tell the budget was small but had the script been written better and had closure to these films, it would has been a much better movie. I like the fact that the original killer from part one played the killer again, he was great but Mena needed to give us a better story rather then campy slash of mostly unlikable characters. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Mena is once again hindered by weak actors giving poor performances, which brings it down, but I don't think it's quite as wretched as the reviewers make it out to be. There's some choices made that should've been handled differently, but otherwise it plays just like one of those countless slasher sequels from the 80s, which is what it was trying to homage, so much so you mistake it for a Halloween movie at times. So I don't know where the big problem lies... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/12/18 Full Review Audience Member It's tragic that a cast member committed suicide before filming could be completed but quite frankly how they decided to end these films is disappointing. They set up what could have been an impressive ending with emotion but it failed and quite frankly teased the audience with its initial plot. The camera quality is just atrocious.
