Peter Debruge Variety Considerably better -- and far more intriguing -- than most entry-level horror pics, marrying a retro B-movie setup with the ghostly obsessions of recent Asian extreme cinema. Jun 13, 2007 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times Filled with labored exposition, stilted line readings and the most unconvincing romantic hookup since Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley. Rated: 1.5/5 Mar 23, 2007 Full Review Jan Stuart Newsday To what niche does this movie aspire, Michael Crichton sci-fi chiller, Ed Wood camp or neo-'60s grand guignol for former leading ladies of a certain age? You decide. Rated: 2/4 Mar 22, 2007 Full Review Ted Murphy Murphy's Movie Reviews There's an intriguing premise buried in MEMORY ... [but] he execution leaves something to be desired. Rated: D Jul 14, 2007 Full Review Abbie Bernstein iF Magazine It doesn't remotely reinvent the wheel, but it's got its own identity, the filmmakers actually care about their storytelling and it is ultimately both sincerely creepy and reasonably enjoyable. Rated: B Jun 13, 2007 Full Review Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com Wait, what movie were we talking about again? Rated: 1.5/5 May 21, 2007 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Not a bad movie i really loved it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Impressive cast and clever premise but poorly executed; there are just too many holes. A nice twist at the end and Billy Zane's performance is very good. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member The casting is very questionable and the acting is sub par; everyone is completely out of character and the movie itself is long , boring and anticlimactic. If this is the best Billy Zane can offer perhaps he should plan another trip aboard the RMS Titanic. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Starts off like an old tales from the crypt tale, but just drags and drags with terrible acting and dialogue until you finally get to the mediocre but somewhat satisfying ending. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Memory (Bennett Davlin, 2006) Generic thriller that doesn't utilize Billy Zane's talents nearly enough. Zane plays a doctor who, while on a trip to Brazil to give a lecture, is asked to consult on a mysterious patient at a nearby hospital. While there, he is exposed to a substance discovered deep in the Amazon that seems to be exposing him to memories that aren't his-memories that were generated by a serial killer while he was committing his crimes. Dennis Hopper has a turn as the doctor's father, basically playing that Dennis Hopper character-quirky, cracked, not that far away from the edge. The whole thing feels kind of phoned in, and while the mystery angle that develops is worthwhile, I felt that there could have been a great deal more to this than there was. ** 1/2 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Good story w bad bad acting!!!
