Megan Andersen Common Sense Media This show explores challenging but important topics around kids' sexual media consumption, classist expectations, sexual consent and assault, hands-off parenting, and treatment of immigrant employees. Jun 10, 2025 Full Review Rohan Naahar The Indian Express A slow-burn thriller that addresses class-disparity, toxic masculinity, and the exploitation of cheap labour, Secrets We Keep takes a rather familiar premise and transforms it into something entirely more complex. Jun 7, 2025 Full Review Juan Pablo Russo EscribiendoCine The series manages to naturally inject questions about privilege, the racialization of domestic work, and individual responsibility in the face of systems that benefit some at the expense of others. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 7/10 May 19, 2025 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Secrets We Keep is a thriller that doesn’t try to distract viewers by sending them down too many dead ends, and tells a story about class, race and wealth in the process. May 16, 2025 Full Review Kshitij Rawat Lifestyle Asia (India) Secrets We Keep uses the familiar tropes of suburban mysteries (missing girls, tight-knit communities, smug rich people, pristine lawns hiding rotting secrets) but twists them into something far more intimate and morally disquieting. May 16, 2025 Full Review Sarah Musnicky But Why Tho? A Geek Community Secrets We Keep has much to say in its short, allotted runtime. Still, with such a limited episode count, this mystery thriller doesn’t give enough beats for its audience to digest the discoveries unearthed. Karen R Very watchable and obviously tries very hard to be current... the rich couple... she (Cecile) works at something never really disclosed what it is, he is lawyer they have an older son who the mother never seems to talk to or even be in the same scene as while there are numerous scenes of her cuddling the other child (not clear what sex this child is) when she gets home from work and before she takes a sleeping pill to go to sleep after she had gone on endless runs - clearly choosing not to spend any time with the elder child who can talk.... then the husband who is toadying up to the rich guy... stereotypically depicted as being everything awful in todays world... rich old and white.... his wife who is of course ignorant and entitled and their ignored son. Add in the religious mix of Filipinno women working as Nannys, Au Pairs looking after the children of these people - its fairly predictable and trite. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/25/25 Full Review Ana D Good mystery keeps you guessing to close to the end, but the best part was the message left behind about really disgusting people, and how far they will go to live in denial. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/16/25 Full Review Han T It's' fun because the main character (Cecilie) is so incredibly stupid literally all of the time, so if you enjoy yelling at the screen a lot then go watch it. She spends more time ratting to the police than talking to her son, her husband, her friend/neighbour.. everyone. The stupidity doesn't end there, with guys handing out their DNA to police like candy, even though Cecilie's husband is an actual lawyer. And then finally I never got the impression that the writers of this thing ever had real experience with having live-in staff, au-pairs, etc. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/13/25 Full Review David W I’ve started an account with rotten tomatoes for the sole purpose of giving the show a negative review. My God, what do people see in this? It manages to be obvious predictable and long with nothing new or redeeming in the production values—oh wait, The one thing it has going for it is that it’s Danish. That’s it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/12/25 Full Review Rosey R Surprise ending! Evilness among the wealthy. I would do anything to protect my kids-except for that. Good representation of the Au Pair society in our country and how they are treated. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/04/25 Full Review Bara S Just checking his departure, look at the photo taken. Possibly only one trip. Like I only see one possibility, for example the airport used. If only one of the airports I suspect matches. Then all replies from SNS, Chat etc. are fake.
