Lee is a filmmaker who, through talent, accomplishment, and a constant working of the refs in the Hollywood system, has earned autonomy over his films. I'm all for artistic freedom, but here he could have used a bit of oversight.

I Love Miracle At St Anna it's definitely one of Spike Lee's Most entertaining films to date & one my favorite war pictures. I never read the book but I thought action was gripping, suspenseful, story was intriguing, the characters were Likable & believable. Michael Ealy, Omar Benson Miller, & Laz Alonso did a good job in thr lead roles. One of Spike Lee's best films to date.
