The movie had a good beginning addressing the uncomfortable truths of using human life as currency. Sad to say the movie itself was ruined by an incomplete plot line and half baked characters.

Entertainment full of good ideas that would be better addressed if the production followed a more dramatic narrative line throughout its entire trajectory (as it was until half of the film) in its science fiction, but by wanting to change genres by going into the action of a thriller , loses all the tone of the chosen plot, forgetting to develop it in all the interesting topics just to give some "shots, blows and bombs" remaining incoherent and disbelief to perhaps, who knows, show that the "hell" of a good script wasted It is disguised as "paradise"...

As an action movie, it's full of ethical challenges and exciting twists and turns and the "sepia" coloring and the grey of the scenery are appropriate, with some touches of color along the way. I'm just not sure, having been away from Germany over 20 years, if that multiethnicity in almost all possible scenes with multiple actors or extras is characteristic of the country now or if that is the future or if it's just a bit forced.

A thought-provoking sci-fi with all the elements a good film of the genre should have. Although the premise of paradise isn't original, the film does a great job at it, entertaining the viewers whilst combining futuristic science with current conflicts that hunt humanity nowadays.
