Dramatically gripping and frighteningly smart, this Lynchian thriller does wonders with its unlikely subject and shoestring budget.

Vaughn R Last night we watched this one; 'Pi' Darren Aronofski's first feature film. Brief synopsis; Max Cohen, a mathematician, believes he can decode thee universal patterns in nature and even thee Stock Market by finding an algorithm in mathematics. It becomes quickly apparent that others are watching what he's doing with great interest. Willing to use violence and money to access what is in his head But his quest for a key number triggers some aggressive people with hidden intentions. Is he searching with mathematics for thee true name ov God? Paranoia and psychosis are at thee forefront ov this film. Amazing cinematography, soundtrack and screenplay. One genius, spiralling into inanity. Vaughn Roxx gives this 4.5 Stars ☆☆☆☆/ Sun Angel Roxx gives this 4.5 Stars ☆☆☆☆/ Total 9 Stars out ov 10. Honestly the sound track was a banger. it’s a bit hard to follow at first. with all the information, but once you get into it it gets easier to follow and is just really good tied up with a smart script and great preference by Sean Gullette.
