Peter W Overall, Robot Riot presents some great concepts as a sci-fi action film. Despite its imperfections, you can sense the Director's passion and dedication to creating an entertaining film, likely with a limited budget. The design of the monster robots and the setting is impressive. However, there are aspects that can't be overlooked, such as wooden and unnatural dialogue, along with the villain who feels more childish than menacing. The third act also drags on longer than necessary. In the end, those seeking a mindless sci-fi experience will find some enjoyable aspects and appreciate it as a solid Directorial debut from Ryan Staples Scott. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/28/23 Full Review christopher c. m Here's the thing, how can you erase the part of the memory of who you are without removing trained memories like how to fight? It would make sense that it was an enemy country or terrorists that were doing our experiments than our own government. And removing certain memories don't do anything to the results of man vs robot at all. I somehow doubt any movie with an EVIL US government would be restoring their memory and returning them to their lives. So, again... What's the fucking point with the memory removal. I know I'm harping on this memory thing, but it's so dumb. Remove the memory but let them keep the dog tags? The CGI is awful, not as bad as the Asylum but that's not exactly a hard bar to top. Looking like a PS3 Mech Warrior game. The whole movie is just dumb. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
