bryan b More puking in this waste of time than Florida during spring break. Yellow puke, black puke, green puke for half the movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member 497. Shifter. I watched this one because I thought the cover art was cool. And then when the opening title shot was similar to The Thing's opening credits, I was like, this is gonna be awesome! And for my tastes, it was. I really liked this one. A strange, bizarre tale of time travel gone wrong! Like that has ever happened, has it? We meet Theresa, she's one of those awkward around people type person, and animals apparently, just watch her interaction with her cat, and you'll see it! She does have her skills though, she's good at building things, we know this because she tells us in the opening credits, and now we know, because she built a time machine in her barn. And in this case socially awkward and time machine don't mix. A guy she knew, calls her up asks her out, she goes, and it turns out he's a douche, takes a phone call outside in the middle of her speaking. As he's coming back in, we notice someone brush by and bumping him a bit, he sits back down, goes to put his cell phone away, and poof, a wedding ring falls to the table, he's as surprised as Theresa is, and she splits. Back at home feeling down, curiosity gets the best of her and what does she do? Anyone? That's right uses the time machine to go back a few hours and see what was up with this guy. Theresa 2 hides out in the back of Theresa 1's truck, and watches… She see's douche bag arrive, take off ring, yada yada, she breaks into car to get ring, waits for him to take the phone call, does the bump and plant ring on him and goes back to truck, and we watch Theresa 1 step into the time machine, and assume the two Theresa's become one, back to normal. She's awkward, can't help it, The End! Nah, remember her cat? Well, she sent the cat through time as well, and how I saw it, I could be wrong, but, she ends up with two cats cause she didn't send the original back through?? And one of them right in front of her gets erased you could say, and by the screams of the cat, it seems like it may be painful. However she's got brains remember? And "fixes" the situation. Guess what? It don't. And then, the time travel fun begins… running into other versions of herself, disappearing in front of people, scarring them for life, while appearing in front of people also scarring them for life, also revisiting her own past to open old wounds. It's a short flick that really doesn't waste any time on the techno side of things, she built a time machine, deal with it! More like a character study. I found it fun and entertaining, and lets you sit there and wonder… wait if she did that, how did she do that… kinda stuff in the smaller budget arena. Worth the watch! Filmbufftim on FB. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member What a waste of time! This is basically a story about vomiting and abdominal pain with a poor development and unfinished plots. I almost couldn't bear to finish it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member This is the worst movie I have ever watched so far. I thought I didn't understand the story so I watched it again. HEY, still didn't get it. WTF. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member The cinema quality is really good, and it keeps you engaged. The premise takes a while to happen, and majority of the movie appears to remain in a state of build-up. Yet, it's a pretty decent small budget indie film, that really gets interesting towards the back half of the movie in a good way. Nicole Fancher (Teresa Chaney) plays a socially awkward wiz kid type of character a little too well, and that's a compliment to her efforts. Although, everyone in this film comes off as a little socially awkward to some degree, which was a little off putting at times. I was also quite impressed by Ashley Mandanas (Blake Douglass; she's a very strong actress. All and all good movie; a worth watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
