Audience Member If this movie came out about 15 years before, it might have been a hit, but being released long after martial arts films were popular doesn't do it many favors. As add in a totally perdictable story, bad acting, bad scripting, and it doesn't lend itself to being worthwhile. Billy Blanks shows the acting ability that would make him a late night infomercial pitchmen. The action sequences are believable enough, but their just boring. The title theme is just a piece of crap that sounds like a feeble attempt to keep the 80s alive. Some unintenionally funny moments make this sort of watchable, but's hard to sit through the garbage to get to those. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member more films starring the worlds worst actors as blanks and merhi team up o take down a drug cartel. to do this they need to learn the art of talons of the eagle fighting??? seriously wtf the bad guys are so useless at martial arts hey may not have bothered as they would have kicked there arses without it. suppose it gave them an excuse to throw in a training montage just for fun. The action is alright when it features the 2 leads or hues but as ive noiced in these bad martial arts movies the bad guys are so slow its unreal. Its ok i suppose bu action is really dated by todays standards. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Yes, I actually saw this. With Billy Blanks, Matthias Hues, and half the Chinese cast of Big Trouble In Little China, how could you go wrong? Well, you could... EASILY! You really need be in the right state of mind before you watch this stinker. I guess I was, hence the 2 1/2 star rating. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny cast for a stupid script, an annoying music and predictable choreography. At least, Matthias Hues has improved his kicking skills since No Retreat No Surrender 2! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A surprisingly entertaining martial arts B- buddy movie! (Wow that's a mouthful!) You got Billy Blanks kicking some major butt along side his inferior in martial arts and clumsy partner Jalal Merhi. I say clumsy because his fight moves look as coordinated as a drunk trying to take a sobriety test while blindfolded!! But this is what makes the movie great to watch. Bad acting, ridiculous plot, bumbling martial arts and some great fight scenes delivered by Mr. Tae Bo himself !! Oh! Did I mention the great James Hong is in it? A definite pick for a night in with friends!! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie has horrific acting, a dire script, no thrills camera work, an utterly unchallenging plot with many pointless scenes, cheesy music, cheap stunts and martial arts fighting. It;s completey predictable and totally pointless. It's perfect! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
