I don't understand why this kind of movie always gets panned. It is DUMB AND FUN in all the right ways. It's the perfect kind of movie when you just want to chill out and have some laughs. It's not meant to be an effin' Aronofsky film.

On Amy’s podcast with Sebastian Maniscalco (also in this movie briefly), she estimated it was a 7% rating. Apparently, it’s not that bad (how could it be with Will and Amy?!), but it’s also no comic masterpiece either. But I still love them all! (Especially Amy, whose series “Parks and Recreation” is one of my all-time favorites)

It's rare that I laugh at a feature comedy these days (most are completely laugh-free and comprehensively awful), so that extra half-star is for the handful of outright laughs that it elicited... but overall the movie's paper thin plot and characters keeps it from even reaching mediocrity.
