The digital critters look much better than in the first film, it's fun seeing Derek Jacobi and Bill Nighy vamp it up, and the sight of Kate in that suit makes it worth squinting through all the murk.

With more sloppy computer graphics rendering more fantastical movie monsters, the sequel boasts a lot of digital fakery directed without much grace. The result is dark and noisy and sorta fun to chuckle at, not with.

Ok, I guess this series just isn't gonna get any love from the critics= but the audience really likes it and so do I. The first was awesome, this was just as good. A keeper for your collection for sure.

This sequel and the first are still the best in the franchise. If only Len Wiseman continued directing them 'til the end. Honestly, I love this franchise more than Resident Evil. This deserved more recognition and money at the box office.
