Panos Kotzathanasis Asian Movie Pulse "White Night" is an enjoyable film, which could have been a masterpiece based on its script, acting and editing, if Park has chosen another tactic in his presentation of the story. Apr 28, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

The characters were well developed and story complex and involving. Some of the dramatics could have been trimmed down to improve the pace and sustain the buildup. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member "Yoo-Han...I'm sorry for not catching you earlier" - Han Dong Soo A marvelous, stylish, amazingly directed, intelligently edited, astonishingly filmed and executed piece of drama. Based on the Japanese novel "Byakuyako" about a murder case that took place in a remote town and the investigation related to it. "White Night" is more than a cop drama or a thriller. It's a deep, psychological and emotionally disturbing film. Extremely recommended. It's definitely on in my top 5. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Well written, well acted, well shot. Maybe a little to long, but it doesn't really matter that much. A very good korean movie. 3,5/5 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Quite stylish & moves faster than I expected. Only I don't quite like its suspense-less narrative while everything was demonstrated crystal clear step by step. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Just another typical Korean thriller. Familiar direction, camera movement, music, setting and sort-of-disturbing twist.
