Johann D. M @Johann33 Apr 15 MATURE AND INTELLIGENT!!! The series begins at a slow pace, sometimes bordering on dull as it carefully builds its characters and their relationships. Yet, it gradually transforms into a deeply compelling, grounded narrative that may not always feel like traditional Star Wars, but that is precisely its strength: a mature, almost entirely human story shaped by political tension, moral ambiguity, and quiet rebellion. The acting is excellent, supported by breathtaking cinematography, strong visual effects, and detailed costumes that enrich the world. Standout moments like the Eye of Aldhani, the Narkina 5 prison arc, and the tense Ferrix finale bring everything together in spectacular fashion, elevating the series to something truly remarkable. That said, the presence of aliens and droids feels noticeably limited, though B2EMO provides some much-needed charm. See more Paul M @overscanpaul Mar 3 Andor isn't just the best Star Wars TV series, its one of the best TV shows I've ever seen, up there with Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, The Expanse, and Season 1 of Westworld. Adult in tone, its a serious exploration of what rebellion and revolution actually looks like. It isn't afraid to take its time with the story and lets us get to know the various characters, so when events take place and the characters are put in jeopardy you are actually seriously invested. After being pestered for years, I finally watched Andor. It was beautifully filmed, the sets and costumes were on point, and it felt like a return to what made Star Wars so wonderful. Unfortunately, Andor capitalized on making you "feel", so when your brain finally catches up, the 5 starts quickly turn into 3. I am not sure about so many of the writing decisions and many of the story arcs went nowhere. The entire prison sequence could have been completely written out as it added nothing other than "Empire bad." The prisoners, especially Kino, are just never heard from again. We had tons of plot placed into this missing sister, but it goes nowhere yet, and they have set up so many arcs for so many people that I am not sure how they hope to close them all off in 1 more season.
